This lovely spring morning on Lake Chapala, seven Audubonistas gathered and identified 27 species including the Blue Grosbeak, not before listed in our past dozen trips to Cristiania Park!

  15. Violet-Crowned Hummingbird

  17. Great Kiskadee
  18. Barn Swallow
  19. Rufous-Backed Robin
  20. Loggerhead Shrike
  21. Yellow Warbler
  22. Brown-Headed Cowbird
  23. Great-Tailed Grackle
  24. Lesser Goldfinch

Flossie's Hummingbirds

Coming to Flossie's? May 26, 2008 at Independencia #2 (that's one block west of LCS and one block north of the Pier in Axixic) for one of three seatings (limit 15 each). Space is available at 9:30 for sure.

The Sparkling Tailed Woodstar is back and we stand a good chance of seeing this rare bird.
