After a Blue Norther swept through Lakeside last night, some 30 of us ventured out to Cristiania Park in Chapala to see what birds had not migrated even further south.
Whitecaps on the Lake and swift 60 degree breeze drove most of the Americanos home early (particularly the Californians) leaving a covey of shirt-sleeved Canadians to bask in the sunshine.
Once we got to the north end of the Park where the birds had taken cover under the sheltering brush, we identified 40 species including:
