We will remember the many wonderful birding outings around Lake Chapala over the past 5 years. -- and of course, the delightful send-off dinner at Tango Restaurant.
Highlights of our time with you include three seasons of Christmas Bird Counts, several pot-luck dinners at our house, Flossie's hummingbirds, Margot's motmots, Vince's photographs, and the excellent leadership of our Lead Birders Tom Holman, Don Bell, John Keeling, Sally Pachulski, Vince Gravel, Jeanne Greene, Kevin Dyer, Rita Bray and others whose names, for no fault of their own, slip my mind.
We are leaving Lakeside but not our friends and our many memories. Relocating in Ecuador, we will be birding from the Andes to the Pacific from our little hacienda in the Yunguilla Valley, midway between the Continental Divide at 13,000 feet and the Coast.
We are pleased that John and Rosemary Keeling will be organizing the upcoming events. We anticipate receiving news of events and activities in the coming year.
