Mystery Lizard Identified
We saw this specimen sunning on a rock fence by the Lake on San Nicholas Road November 9, 2008. It is green with a yellow chevron, black head, and black belly. tom holeman photo

Dear Bette:
The lizard of the picture is : Sceloporus torquatus melanogaster (Family Prynosomatidae) it is very comoon on fences and rocks around the lake.
