The Lake Chapala Christmas Bird Count is scheduled for December 27, 2006. Before that we will make team assignments and get together to discuss the count. We will be sampling the Lake Shore from Chapala to San Juan Cosala, the villages and hillsides, and the valley north of the hills. We are counting on a good turnout so that we can cover our territory with several teams of four.

Please bring your signup sheet and 55 pesos (for the Audubon Society's costs) by December 16, 2006 to Aves Galeria at Ramon Corona #23 (at the corner of 16 de Septiembre) in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico.

Teams will consist of an experienced team leader, spotters, and counters. Do not let your lack of experience stand in the way of your enjoying this important exercise.

We will make team assignments in accord with your expertise and availability.
