Quick Birding

At 8 a.m. on July 26, a dozen Audubonistas ranging in expertise from 1 to 10, met at the pier in Axixic for a hour of birding before the rains. Led by Jeanne Greene with Tom Holeman in a supporting role, we sallied westward along the park.

Our little group identified Great Egret, Common Moorhen, Black Crowned Night Heron, Mexican Mallard, Pied Billed Grebe, Great Kiskadee, Great Tailed Grackle, Barn Swallow, ?? Hummingbird, and ?? Sparrow before we disbanded.

Next, we will meet at Christiana Park in Chapala under the guidance of Tom Holeman, with Jeanne Greene in a supporting role.
